How to regain & remain focussed
Regaining focus can be a difficult task, but there are some helpful tips that can help you get back on track.
First, identify what is causing you to lose focus. Is it lack of sleep? Distractions from technology, or something else? Once you have identified the cause, make a plan to address it. For example, if it is lack of sleep, make sure you are getting enough rest. If it is distractions from technology, try to limit your screen time or find ways to minimize your distractions. Additionally, try to break down your tasks into manageable pieces and take regular breaks.
Finally, reward yourself when you complete each task so that you can stay motivated. With these tips, you should be able to regain focus and achieve your goals.
- Use a timer – set a specific time for each task. This will help you remain focused and give you a sense of accomplishment when the timer goes off.
- Take frequent breaks – take a few minutes every hour or so to get up and walk around, grab a snack or drink, or just take a few moments to yourself. This will help you stay fresh and refocused.
- Minimize distractions – turn off notifications, put away your phone, and find a quiet place to work. This will help keep you on task and allow you to focus on the task at hand.
- Make a plan – break down big tasks into smaller, more manageable pieces. This will help you stay on track and keep you from getting overwhelmed.
- Reward yourself – after completing a task or goal, reward yourself with something small, like a cup of your favourite coffee or a snack. This will help keep you motivated and focussed on your goals.
